Bethel Baptist Church

Bethel Baptist Church holds a very special place in my heart. There are churches you visit and appreciate, and then there are churches that simply feel like home. For me, Bethel is home. It is a church filled with extraordinary people who genuinely love Christ, love His Word, and demonstrate that love in the way they welcome, encourage, and care for others.
There is a genuine desire within this congregation not simply to know God’s Word, but to share it. Their love for Christ extends beyond the walls of the church through evangelism, fellowship, service, and a sincere desire for others to know the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. You do not simply hear the Gospel preached at Bethel—you see a congregation that desires to live it and share it.
Pastor Andrew is another truly gifted and knowledgeable pastor, but perhaps what I appreciate most about him is that he possesses a shepherd’s heart. His knowledge of Scripture is evident in his preaching and teaching, but so too is his genuine love and concern for the people God has entrusted to his care. He teaches God’s Word faithfully, thoughtfully, and with a desire not merely to communicate information, but to help people know Christ more deeply and grow in their walk with Him.
What makes Bethel so special to me, however, cannot be attributed to any one person. It is the church family as a whole—their love for Christ, their love for Scripture, their love for one another, and their willingness to welcome others into that fellowship. There is something very special about worshipping among people with whom you can study God’s Word, pray, laugh, serve, grow, and simply share life together.
Bethel Baptist Church is more than simply a place where I have attended church. It is a church family that feels like home, and I am deeply thankful for the people there, for Pastor Andrew’s faithful shepherding, and most importantly for their shared desire to know, worship, serve, and proclaim Jesus Christ. Suncoast Baptist Church
Suncoast Baptist Church is truly a wonderful church with an extraordinary congregation of people who genuinely love God, love one another, faithfully share His Word, and worship Him together. There is a warmth and sincerity here that is difficult to put into words—you simply feel welcomed and among people who sincerely love the Lord.
Pastor Brian is a truly gifted and humble pastor. He has a remarkable ability to take difficult passages and challenging biblical topics and make them understandable without watering them down or avoiding the difficult questions. His teaching is thoughtful, firmly grounded in Scripture, and encourages you to open your Bible, think about what you believe, and grow in your understanding of God’s Word.
What I especially appreciate about Suncoast is that the love for Christ does not end when the sermon does. You see it in the congregation, in their fellowship, in their worship, and in the way people genuinely care for one another.
If you are looking for a church where God’s Word is taken seriously, where Christ is faithfully proclaimed, and where you can worship and grow alongside people who genuinely love the Lord, I cannot recommend Suncoast Baptist Church highly enough.
