Faith is often misunderstood as blind optimism or wishful thinking. Biblical faith is something far deeper. It is confident trust in the character, promises, and faithfulness of God, even when we cannot see how He is working.

There are seasons when life makes perfect sense, but there are also times when God’s purposes remain hidden from us. During those moments we are tempted to rely only upon what we can see. Yet appearances are not always reality. God is often accomplishing His greatest work behind the scenes.

Abraham followed God’s call without knowing where the journey would lead. Moses obeyed God’s command before the Red Sea parted. Joshua marched around Jericho before the walls fell. Again and again, Scripture reminds us that faith obeys God before the outcome is visible.

Walking by faith means trusting God’s promises even when circumstances seem to contradict them. It means believing that He remains faithful even when we cannot trace His hand.

Every step of faith strengthens our confidence in the Lord. As we look back, we discover that God has been guiding us far more faithfully than we realized at the time.

Faith is not the absence of questions. It is the decision to trust God despite them.
