Revelation 22:19 — Closing Warning

English translations reflect a textual variation between “Book of Life” and “tree of life.” Either reading gives a severe warning against tampering with the prophecy. Because of the textual issue, this verse should not carry disproportionate weight in a detailed doctrine of names being added to or removed from the Book of Life.
