Revelation 3:5 — Not Blotted Out

Jesus promises the conqueror that He will never blot that person’s name from the Book of Life. The promise functions as assurance. It should not automatically become a technical statement about when names were entered or whether names can literally be erased from God’s omniscient knowledge.
