Clark’s Content Modal allows supporting material from another Clark’s Anchored in Christ article or page to be opened without leaving the study you are currently reading.
When you encounter a link configured as a Content Modal link, selecting it opens the referenced material in a large window over the current article.
This is particularly useful for supplementary notes, extended explanations, analogies, definitions, or related discussions that would otherwise interrupt the flow of the primary study.
Opening a Specific Section
A Content Modal link can point either to the beginning of another article or directly to a specific anchored section within it.
For example, an article discussing Romans 8 could provide a link such as:
View the Courtroom Analogy
Rather than navigating away and making you locate the relevant section manually, the Content Modal can open the complete related article and automatically position you at the Courtroom Analogy.
The Complete Article Is Available
The modal does not extract only the selected paragraph or section.
It loads the complete rendered article and then scrolls to the requested anchor.
This means the surrounding context remains available. You can scroll upward or downward within the modal if you want to see how the selected material fits within the complete article.
Open the Full Page
The footer provides Open full page.
Use this when you decide that you would rather leave the modal and continue reading the referenced article normally.
If the modal originally opened at a particular section, the full-page link retains that anchor.
Closing the Modal
The Content Modal can be closed with the ×, by selecting the background outside the modal, or with the Escape key.
The original article remains underneath, allowing you to continue from where you left off.
