Today’s Bible Verse

Psalm 27:14 “Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!”

Today’s Reflection

Waiting is rarely easy. We pray for answers. We seek direction. We ask God to intervene. Sometimes His answer is immediate. Often it is not.

Waiting does not mean God has forgotten us. More often, waiting is one of God’s greatest classrooms. During seasons of waiting He teaches patience, dependence, humility, and trust.

  • Abraham waited.
  • Joseph waited.
  • David waited.
  • The disciples waited.
  • Even Jesus waited for the Father’s appointed time.

God’s delays are never accidents. His timing is always perfect. While we wait for God to work around us, He is often doing an even greater work within us.

Trust Him.

The God who knows the end from the beginning never arrives late.

Practical Application

  • Bring your unanswered prayers to God again today.
  • Thank Him even while you wait.
  • Resist the temptation to force open closed doors.
  • Use seasons of waiting to grow in Scripture and prayer.
  • Trust God’s timing more than your own.

Prayer

Father,

help me trust You when Your answers seem delayed. Teach me patience and strengthen my faith while I wait upon You. Thank You that Your timing is always perfect.

Amen.
